Tourexpi
The
hotel now features a new design concept called "Light Place,"
inspired by Sendai’s identity as the City of Trees. The refreshed interiors aim
to evoke the warmth of sunlight and the cool shade of trees, creating a calm
and inviting atmosphere throughout the hotel. Art and architectural elements
bring the region’s natural beauty into every corner of the space.
To
accommodate a wider range of travelers, the hotel has significantly increased
the number of family and group-friendly rooms. The number of rooms suitable for
three or four guests has expanded from two to 34, including new four-person
rooms, as well as updated twin and triple room options. All rooms have been
redesigned with new interiors and furnishings to promote comfort and
relaxation.
The
communal bathing areas have been fully revamped. Highlights include outdoor
baths featuring illuminated walls that reflect sunlight and shade motifs. The
women’s powder room has been expanded, and a variety of haircare products are
now available to enhance the overall experience.
Dining
has also been elevated with regional culinary offerings. The in-house Italian
restaurant, BAROLO Ristorante da 1830, uses high-quality ingredients from the
Miyagi and Tohoku regions. The breakfast menu now includes local specialties
such as grilled beef tongue, fresh wakame seaweed, fish cakes, and cold shabu
with catechin pork. The restaurant’s signature Bolognese Classico is also
available in the morning, allowing guests to enjoy its deep flavor at any time
of day.
The
renovated hotel emphasizes versatility, comfort, and function. Rooms have been
redesigned to suit a variety of travel needs and to optimize ease of use,
ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
The
bathhouse now serves as a serene space for rest and rejuvenation, with new
design elements and expanded amenities contributing to a more luxurious and
calming environment.
The
dining experience now better reflects the seasonality and richness of the local
region. Guests can enjoy dishes that highlight regional produce and culinary
traditions in a stylish yet welcoming setting.
With
these enhancements, Mitsui Garden Hotel Sendai strengthens its commitment to
combining contemporary hospitality with the cultural and natural character of
the city.
