The
property will operate under a franchise agreement with Watercress Hotel
International Limited and will be managed by Valor Hospitality Partners, a
global leader in hotel operations and one of IHG’s trusted partners.
This
milestone marks a significant step in IHG’s strategic expansion across Africa,
strengthening its presence in key urban destinations and reinforcing its
long-term commitment to growth on the continent.
Prime
Location in Nigeria’s Commercial Capital
Crowne
Plaza Lagos Ikeja will be situated in the bustling Ikeja district—Lagos’
central administrative, commercial, and aviation hub. The hotel’s location
offers direct access to Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Alausa
Secretariat, Ikeja City Mall, corporate offices, embassies, and cultural sites
like the Nike Art Gallery. Its proximity to coastal attractions such as Tarkwa
Bay and Elegushi Beach will appeal to both business and leisure travelers.
Modern
Design for the Contemporary Guest
The
hotel will bring Crowne Plaza’s next-generation features to West Africa,
including the Plaza Workspace—a flexible, design-led environment for informal
meetings and collaboration. Guests will also enjoy WorkLife Rooms, which blend
comfort and functionality to support both relaxation and productivity.

Once
operational, Crowne Plaza Lagos Ikeja will join IHG’s network of over 400
Crowne Plaza properties worldwide. Known for its contemporary style and
guest-centric services, the brand supports today’s global travellers in
balancing business and leisure.
