The
hotel will be operated under a management agreement with Nha Trang Bay JSC,
part of the GreenSpark Group.
Located
in the heart of the coastal city of Nha Trang, the new voco hotel will rise 28
storeys high and offer sweeping views of the South China Sea. It becomes the third
voco property in Vietnam, joining voco Ma Belle Danang – By IHG and voco Quang
Binh Resort – By IHG, the world’s first voco-branded resort.
voco
hotels, IHG’s fastest-growing premium brand, are known for combining the
character of individual hotels with the reassurance of a trusted global name.
The Nha Trang property will offer modern guest facilities including a swimming
pool, restaurant and bars, and meeting spaces. Guests will enjoy direct beach
access and proximity to key attractions such as Ponagar Temple, Vinh Hai Market,
and renowned mud spas.
Situated
just under an hour from Cam Ranh International Airport, voco Scenia Bay Nha
Trang will form part of a larger masterplan tourism development envisioned to
boost the region’s travel potential.
This
new signing brings IHG’s presence in the Nha Trang area to four properties,
alongside InterContinental Nha Trang, InterContinental Residences Nha Trang,
and Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. Nha Trang itself recorded an 80% year-on-year
tourism increase in 2024, with 10.8 million total visitors, including 4.8
million international tourists.
IHG
currently operates 20 hotels across eight brands in Vietnam, with 22 more in
the pipeline, reflecting strong confidence in Vietnam as a key growth market.
The group has a footprint in ten destinations including Phu Quoc, Danang, Con
Dao, Ho Tram, and Hanoi, and plans to expand across all brand segments.
