Tourexpi
This
new project follows the success of Holiday Inn Resort Bodrum and will become
the second Holiday Inn Resort in the region. It also adds to IHG’s growing
presence in Türkiye, with 33 hotels currently open and 17 more in the pipeline.
Scheduled
to open in mid-2026, the 460-room resort will further solidify IHG’s position
in the Turkish leisure market. Located along the Aegean coast near Turgutreis
Marina, the resort will offer panoramic views of the sea and direct access to a
sandy beach. Designed with families and leisure travellers in mind, amenities
will include a large pool, spa, bar, event and conference spaces, and more.
Guests
at Holiday Inn Resort Bodrum West Beach will enjoy proximity to beaches,
nightlife, and cultural attractions, as well as easy access to yachting and
nearby Greek islands like Kos, making it an ideal destination for both
relaxation and exploration.
Willemijn
Geels, Vice President, Development, Europe at IHG Hotels & Resorts,
commented:
“Turgutreis
is one of the most vibrant destinations in Bodrum, attracting both
international and local travellers. This strategic signing allows us to
introduce the Holiday Inn Resort brand in another key leisure location in
Türkiye. We are proud to partner with Uslu Turizm Insaat Tasimacilik Sanayi ve
Ticaret A.S. and look forward to bringing this exciting vision to life by
combining their local insight with IHG’s global expertise and brand strength.”
Ersin
Uslu, Owner of Uslu Turizm Insaat Tasimacilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., added:
“We
are delighted to work with IHG to realise this beautiful new resort. Their
established presence in Türkiye and flexible approach – including seasonal
offerings such as all-inclusive in high season and room-only in low season –
give us great confidence. We are certain that Holiday Inn Resort Bodrum West
Beach will stand out as a unique destination and contribute meaningfully to the
region’s tourism development.”
Holiday
Inn, one of the most recognised hotel brands in the world, was founded to offer
consistent, welcoming travel experiences for families and business travellers
alike. Today, the brand continues to evolve to meet the changing expectations
of modern travellers, while honouring its legacy of comfort and inclusivity.
With
this new addition, the number of Holiday Inn brand properties (open and in
development) in Türkiye now reaches 20. The new resort will join IHG’s existing
presence in the country across five brands: Six Senses, InterContinental,
Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Express, and Holiday Inn.
Figures
accurate as of 31 March 2025 unless otherwise stated.
