Delta Air Lines is extending the holiday season with
the return of its annual Beyond the Summer promotion. Running from 21 July, the
campaign offers exclusive flight deals, bonus mileage opportunities and special
offers across Delta's travel and lifestyle partners. Eligible SkyMiles members
can also earn double miles on selected flights during the limited-time event.
Double miles on selected flights
SkyMiles members who register for the promotion and
book eligible Delta Main Classic or Delta Main Extra fares by 23 July 2026 can
earn double miles on qualifying flights included in the campaign.
The offer covers destinations across Delta's global
network, including Riyadh, Seoul, Honolulu, Sydney, Auckland, Rome, Paris,
Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Cancun and Punta Cana. The promotion is
available for 72 hours.
Additional rewards beyond the flight
The campaign also includes enhanced earning
opportunities for holiday packages, hotel stays and vacation rentals.
Customers booking eligible flight-and-hotel packages
through Delta Vacations can save up to 275 US dollars while continuing to earn
SkyMiles and Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs). Medallion members also
retain benefits such as upgrade eligibility and priority airport services.
Through Delta Stays, SkyMiles members can earn four
miles per US dollar spent on eligible hotel bookings. Selected properties
additionally offer VIP Access benefits, including room upgrades and food and
beverage credits.
Expanded partnership with Airbnb
Delta is also highlighting its expanded cooperation
with Airbnb. SkyMiles members who link their Airbnb and SkyMiles accounts
continue to earn one mile per US dollar on eligible Airbnb Homes bookings.
During the promotional period, members can also earn
three miles per US dollar and receive a one-time bonus of 2,000 SkyMiles after
completing a qualifying Airbnb Experience or Service worth at least 50 US
dollars. Eligible bookings must be made by 6 August 2026 and completed by 31
March 2027.
According to Delta, the Beyond the Summer campaign
builds on the everyday value of the SkyMiles programme by giving members more
opportunities to earn and redeem miles across flights, hotels, vacation
packages, car rentals and travel experiences throughout the year.
