Tourexpi
In
a strategic move to strengthen cooperation in the Türkiye and Greece travel
segment, TUI Group and Bentour Reisen AG have signed a share swap agreement.
Under the terms of the deal:
Bentour
Reisen will acquire a 20% stake in Nazar Nordic AB, a wholly owned TUI
subsidiary based in Malmö, Sweden.
In
return, TUI Group will acquire a 20% stake in Bentour Reisen AG, headquartered
in Zurich, Switzerland.
The
transaction is subject to regulatory approval by the relevant antitrust
authorities.
Complementary
Strengths, Shared Vision
Though
both companies focus on high-quality, all-inclusive travel experiences to
destinations such as Türkiye and Greece, their market positions and customer
bases differ:
Nazar
Nordic: A specialist in all-inclusive holidays for travelers from Northern
Europe—particularly Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
Bentour
Reisen: A family-owned Swiss tour operator with a strong presence in Germany,
Austria, and Switzerland, catering to German-speaking markets.
This
partnership allows both companies to leverage synergies, strengthen destination
portfolios, and expand their market reach without direct overlap in their core
markets.
