new service allows travellers to send and receive an unlimited number of text
messages and photos via popular messaging apps directly from their smartphone
or tablet—regardless of travel class.
Responding
to growing passenger demand, the airline now enables travellers to stay in
touch with friends and family during intercontinental flights, without
incurring extra costs.
The
complimentary service is made possible through a partnership with Mastercard.
To access it, passengers simply log in to the FlyNet® onboard portal using
either their Miles & More service card number or an email address
registered with a Lufthansa Group Travel ID. New users can also sign up during
their flight.
This
latest offering underscores Lufthansa’s commitment to enhancing the in-flight
digital experience and making connectivity more accessible for all passengers.
