The
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) invites golf enthusiasts and travellers to
enjoy “Surat Thani Green Fee with Meaning”, an exclusive promotional
campaign running from 15 January to 31 May 2025. This initiative combines
world-class golf with sustainable tourism in the breathtaking landscapes of
Surat Thani.
In
collaboration with Ratchaprapa Dam Golf Course and the Electricity Generating
Authority of Thailand, the campaign offers a 50% discount on Green Fees for
the first 600 golfers on weekdays and weekends. While caddy and golf cart fees
are not included, this offer provides a unique opportunity to play golf in the
serene surroundings of Ratchaprapa Dam within Khao Sok National Park.
Ms.
Mantana Bhuthorarak, Director of TAT Surat Thani Office, said: “This
campaign positions Surat Thani as a destination for golfers while supporting
sustainable tourism. Visitors can immerse themselves in the area’s stunning
landscapes and rich culture while contributing to the local economy. It’s more
than just a round of golf – it’s an inspiring journey that creates meaningful
connections.”
The
programme highlights the natural beauty of Surat Thani and encourages
exploration of Ratchaprapa Dam, renowned for its dramatic scenery and
ecotourism excellence. Visitors can enhance their experience by taking a boat
from Cheow Lan pier to explore attractions such as Khao Sam Kloe, Pra Kie Phet
Cave, Tham Thalu, and tranquil floating accommodations.
Surat
Thani’s excellent connectivity and diverse attractions make it ideal for
blending recreation with relaxation. By promoting eco-conscious travel and
cultural immersion, the campaign ensures a memorable and impactful experience
for all visitors.
Golfers
and travellers can book this limited-time offer directly with Ratchaprapa Dam
Golf Course at +66 (0) 7724 2562 or via the Facebook page: Ratchaprapha
