As Four Seasons celebrates its 65th anniversary, the
company enters 2026 with a clear emphasis on long-term, disciplined growth.
Guided by a service-driven culture and a unified brand strategy, Four Seasons
is advancing its global pipeline across priority destinations while expanding
its portfolio of experiences on land, at sea and in the air.
“This milestone year marks both a proud legacy and a
clear path forward,” said Alejandro Reynal, President and Chief Executive
Officer, Four Seasons. Staying true to service excellence while growing with
intent, he noted, remains central to the brand’s strategy.
Founded in Toronto in 1961, Four Seasons has grown
into a global portfolio spanning hotels, resorts, residences and travel
experiences, all under a single brand. Today, the company operates 135 hotels
and resorts and 61 residential properties in 47 countries, supported by
long-term shareholders aligned with sustainable value creation.
Strategic expansion in key destinations
Growth in 2026 will focus on markets where Four
Seasons can elevate the local luxury landscape. In the Americas, upcoming
openings include Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena and the reopening
of Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara. In Europe, the pipeline
features Danieli, A Four Seasons Hotel, Venice, Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos, and
The Park Gstaad in Switzerland.
The Middle East remains a core growth engine, with new
projects in Saudi Arabia such as Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at
Shura Island, the wellness-led AMAALA development, and Four Seasons Hotel
Madinah. In Asia Pacific, Four Seasons will debut in Vietnam’s capital with
Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake.
Beyond near-term openings, the company continues to
build a robust pipeline of around 60 projects, including a return to Berlin, a
new hotel in Rio de Janeiro, and further expansion in the United States and the
Middle East.
Expanding experiential travel
Experiential travel remains a key pillar of growth.
Four Seasons Yachts will launch in 2026 with Four Seasons I, introducing the
brand’s service philosophy to the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Adriatic. The
Four Seasons Private Jet Experience continues to expand its itineraries, while
new multi-property journeys are being introduced to offer deeper, locally
guided travel experiences.
Residential growth as a cornerstone
Four Seasons continues to lead in branded residences,
with residential components accounting for 65 percent of its development
pipeline. Recent and upcoming projects span markets such as Istanbul, Bahrain
Bay, Puerto Rico, Mumbai and Saudi Arabia, alongside standalone Private
Residences in cities including Washington, DC, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Miami.
As Four Seasons looks beyond its anniversary year, the
company remains focused on intentional expansion, innovation in experiences and
preserving the service culture that has defined the brand for more than six
decades.
