Starting
from December 18th, the meticulously crafted "Silk Road Express"
by the esteemed railway cultural tourism expert "Train of Glamour"
will set out. This luxurious international tourist train is embarking on a
four-month "Train Cruise of China," starting in Xining. The
journey includes stops at celebrated locations such as Xi'an, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen,
Huangshan, Wuyishan, Kunming, Chongzuo, Xingyi, Chengdu, and more,
offering train enthusiasts an unparalleled opportunity to explore the wonders
of China.
The
Train Cruise of China offers two distinct experiences: a 2-day,
1-night micro-vacation and a 4-day, 3-night short-haul series. Aligned with the
slogan "The Train Is The Destination", the micro-vacation caters to
travelers seeking the convenience of remaining onboard throughout their
journey. Guests board in the afternoon, enjoy a sumptuous dinner, and retire to
their private cabins, disembarking after breakfast the following day. During
their stay, travelers can indulge in special onboard activities including afternoon
tea, cabaret shows, cocktail parties, jewelry sessions, art lectures, gourmet
tastings, and spa experiences. Further enhancing the experience are amenities
like karaoke and mahjong rooms, with a dedicated team of train butlers
providing round-the-clock service.
Train
of Glamour describes the micro-vacation series as a versatile choice for those
looking for an innovative staycation, a romantic getaway, a festive
celebration, or a distinctive way to ring in the New Year. Special
holiday-themed menus are already planned for the Christmas and New Year's Eve
dinners, inviting guests to celebrate in style.
The
4-day, 3-night short-haul features a more engaging itinerary, offering a
variety of activities beyond the train. Among them, the Tour of Double Cultural
Heritages in East China, navigating from Shanghai to Wuyishan and
Huangshan, and back, and the Tour of Scenic Spots in Guizhou and Guangxi,
which connects Shenzhen or Guangzhou to Chongzuo, Xingyi,
and Kunming. These tours uphold the high standards of the Train of Glamour,
with vacation ambassadors providing attentive, family-style service throughout.
The
Silk Road Express initially rolled out on July 6 of this year,
featuring a 15-car configuration with 38 deluxe cabins, each equipped with
private bathrooms. Its inaugural route, the Qinghai-Gansu line,
offered a 5-day, 4-night round trip from Xining to Dunhuang. As
of October 10, the train began offering the Traveling Around Southern
Xinjiang, with options for a 6-day, 5-night journey or an extended 9-day,
8-night adventure.
This
launch signifies a progressive step by Train of Glamour to diversify and
enhance their offerings, enabling more train travel enthusiasts to delve
into China's vast landscapes and experience the boundless charm of
domestic railway cultural tourism within a short timeframe. Looking ahead,
Train of Glamour plans to continue its tradition of innovation by introducing
more high-quality, unique, and popular tourist train offerings.
