Tourexpi
The
1,200-guest vessel was built at the prestigious Fincantieri Shipyard in Genoa
and is the second ship in the Allura Class, following the debut of sister ship Oceania
Vista® in May 2023.
“Oceania
Allura is our most innovative and luxurious ship to date. She represents our
bold vision for a new generation of luxury travel,” said Jason Montague, Chief
Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises. “At the heart of this remarkable ship is an
extraordinary crew committed to exceptional cuisine, personalized service, and
immersive enrichment.”
Culinary
Innovation Aboard Oceania Allura
“Our
philosophy of offering the Finest Cuisine at Sea is the guiding star for
everything we do,” said Chef Alexis Quaretti, Executive Culinary Director. “The
launch of Oceania Allura marks the beginning of a new era in culinary
excellence.”
The
ship introduces new dining venues, menus, and reimagined classics, many of
which will be introduced across the fleet through 2026. Notable additions
include a Crêperie, serving authentic French crêpes, Belgian and bubble
waffles, and Italian ice cream sundaes.
Beloved
French restaurant Jacques, named after legendary chef Jacques Pépin, returns
with refined classics like duck à l’orange and experiential dishes like
hand-cut beef tartare prepared tableside. The popular pan-Asian restaurant Red
Ginger now features Nikkei cuisine—Japanese-Peruvian fusion—with standout
dishes such as tuna ceviche, short rib with lomo saltado, and bao bun
soft-shell crab tempura.
The
Grand Dining Room showcases more than 270 new recipes, including over 30
breakfast additions such as multiple variations of eggs Benedict. Two Master
Chefs of France, Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, lead the ship’s exceptional
culinary team.
Wine
and mixology also take center stage with the introduction of the Gerard
Bertrand Wine Pairing Luncheon, a curated tasting experience paired with
expertly crafted cuisine.
Future-Facing
Expansion
Oceania
Allura will be followed by the first Sonata Class vessel, Oceania Sonata™, in
2027 and Oceania Arietta™ in 2029. Each will carry approximately 1,390 guests
and measure 86,000 gross tons. Two additional Sonata Class vessels have now
been confirmed for delivery in 2032 and 2035.
“I
am delighted to confirm we will be adding two more Sonata Class vessels to our
fleet,” said Montague. “Together with our partners at Fincantieri, we’re
shaping the future of small-ship luxury.”
