Digital travel platform Agoda, through its strategic
partnerships division Rocket Travel by Agoda, has announced a long-term
collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) to promote Saudi Arabia’s
cultural richness and diverse attractions to travelers across the Asia-Pacific
region. The partnership was unveiled during WiT Singapore with the launch of
the ‘Spectacular Saudi’ campaign, which uses immersive storytelling, curated
experiences, and exclusive travel offers to boost inbound tourism from 11 Asian
countries.
Expanding reach across Asia-Pacific
Running until 28 February 2026, the ‘Spectacular
Saudi’ campaign targets travelers from Singapore, China, India, Indonesia,
Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Japan, Australia, South Korea, and Thailand.
The STA will employ Agoda’s Media Solutions to reach active travelers through
precision marketing across Agoda’s digital platforms and external media
channels. The initiative aims to significantly increase awareness and travel
demand for Saudi Arabia among Asian audiences.
A four-year strategic partnership
The collaboration between Agoda and the Saudi Tourism
Authority will extend through 2029, combining digital marketing, social media
campaigns, and targeted advertising. In addition to onsite banners and brand
amplification, the campaign will feature special discounts on selected
accommodations across Saudi Arabia to drive direct bookings.
Dedicated landing pages will highlight Saudi’s hidden
gems and iconic destinations, while participating hotels will gain enhanced
visibility and premium placement to connect with thousands of travel-ready
users across Agoda’s global network.
Voices from the partnership
“We are pleased to collaborate with the Saudi Tourism
Authority on the ‘Spectacular Saudi’ campaign,” said Damien Pfirsch, Chief
Commercial Officer at Agoda. “By combining our experience in engaging travelers
from Asia with their vision for the Kingdom, we aim to inspire new journeys and
contribute to the continued growth of Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector.”
Alhasan Aldabbagh, President of APAC at the Saudi
Tourism Authority, added: “Our strategy focuses on high-impact partnerships
that provide access to global consumer markets. Leveraging Agoda’s extensive
reach helps us position Saudi Arabia as a top travel choice for millions of
potential visitors. This campaign plays a crucial role in accelerating the
Kingdom’s tourism growth.”
Strengthening Saudi Arabia’s global tourism footprint
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to
connect travelers with Saudi Arabia’s vibrant culture, heritage, and natural
beauty. With Agoda’s extensive inventory of over six million properties
worldwide, along with flights and activity offerings, the collaboration
promises travelers exceptional value and variety while supporting Saudi
Arabia’s ambitions to become a leading global tourism destination.
