Peakwork will showcase the next major development
phase of its all-in-one Travel Operating Platform, nexTOs, at ITB Berlin 2026.
Initially introduced at ITB 2025, the system has evolved into a modular,
end-to-end solution covering the full operational value chain of leisure
travel.
nexTOs now supports processes ranging from sourcing,
aggregation, packaging, and pricing to distribution, fulfilment, and automated
customer communication. With this expansion, Peakwork positions the platform as
a central technology backbone for modern tour operating models.
Functional expansion across travel operations
Since its launch, nexTOs has been continuously
enhanced across core operational areas. Transfer management capabilities now
allow operators to connect and prioritise multiple providers simultaneously,
with automated switching if preferred partners are unavailable. Manually
maintained services can also be integrated alongside API-based content.
Fee management functions enable flexible calculation
and automated inclusion of operator-specific charges within pricing logic.
Payment management has been broadened to support credit card, direct debit, and
PayPal, including deposit and instalment models.
Automated discount handling and document management
further streamline workflows, while event-based communication tools support
increasingly automated customer interactions. Airline schedule changes are
detected and processed automatically, reducing manual intervention.
Deeper system integrations
nexTOs is being progressively connected to external
system environments. Integrations with distribution and CRS platforms such as
Amadeus TOMA, Sabre, and Travelport CETS facilitate participation in the travel
agency sales channel.
A fully integrated white-label booking frontend offers
flexible end-customer interfaces, complemented by a travel agent tool designed
for agency and call centre use within direct sales environments.
Peakwork is also extending nexTOs into adjacent
operational domains. A native CRM interface is scheduled for rollout, developed
in cooperation with Inspiretec (Juniper Group), enabling direct use of customer
data and booking histories. Finance integrations will allow booking and
settlement data to be transferred seamlessly into existing accounting systems.
Preparing for cruise functionality
Peakwork has announced that cruise-specific
capabilities will be gradually integrated into the nexTOs environment
throughout 2026, reflecting the platform’s continued functional expansion.
One platform, multiple business models
Thanks to its modular architecture, nexTOs can be
deployed as a complete end-to-end solution or selectively integrated into
existing system landscapes. The platform is designed to support a range of
business models, including full tour operator systems, airline holiday
solutions, high-performance distribution environments, and OTA access to tour
operator content.
Manuel Saballus, CEO of Peakwork, explains: “With
nexTOs, we are developing our platform step by step into a fully integrated
Travel Operating Solution. The system has become significantly more
comprehensive, powerful, and flexible across all areas. Today, our partners can
map their entire travel business on a single high-performance platform.”
Peakwork also points to recent operational performance
as an indicator of market validation. “The booking figures achieved recently –
including the highest booking volumes in the company’s history in January –
confirm that with nexTOs, we are technologically and strategically on the right
track,” Saballus adds.
