Tourexpi
A
new signature fragrance brings a fresh, distinctive atmosphere to the cabin.
Mint and fruit candies in Eurowings colours add a sweet parting touch. Relaxing
boarding music creates a welcoming soundscape for passengers coming and going.
And more special experiences are in the works throughout the travel journey.
Affordable
travel and a feel-good ambience? Eurowings proves it’s possible—going beyond
the standard low-cost model. The airline is introducing a range of new,
multi-sensory in-flight experiences for its more than 20 million guests. Each
"signature moment"—from boarding to arrival—is designed to engage the
senses, surprise passengers, and leave lasting, positive memories.
“We
don’t just want our guests to feel safe and well cared for—we want them to be
emotionally involved, with all their senses,” says Clemens Strauss, Head of
Customer Experience, Marketing & Sustainability. “It’s the small,
well-considered details that create a real brand experience.”
“Burgundy
Breeze”: A Signature Fragrance for the Cabin
A
standout feature is the new cabin fragrance “Burgundy Breeze,” created in
collaboration with Cologne-based scent marketing agency Scentcommunication.
With notes of sea salt, pink pepper, water lily, wood, and vetiver, the
fragrance evokes freshness and harmony, embodying the relaxed spirit of the
Eurowings brand.
Sweet
Farewell: Candies in Brand Colours
As
passengers disembark, Eurowings adds a final gesture: sweets in Burgundy or Sky
Blue. With flavours like cassis or peppermint, these candies offer a small but
memorable farewell moment that appeals to the heart.
Relaxing
Soundscapes: Music at Boarding and Disembarking
Custom-designed
music now plays during boarding and deboarding on every Eurowings flight.
Developed specifically for the brand, the "Organic Electro" sound
includes nature sounds and subtle flight-related effects—inviting passengers to
begin their holiday the moment they step onboard.
More
Than a Flight: A Sensed Identity
With
these initiatives, Eurowings positions itself as a value airline focused on
emotional quality. By appealing directly to the senses, it creates a strong,
memorable identity—standing out in an often uniform industry. Additional
brand-enhancing features will follow in the coming months, aiming to further
enrich the travel experience at every stage of the journey.
