Condor takes off again from Berlin

Guests from the capital region will have the opportunity to fly with Condor from Berlin to Dubai (DXB), Gran Canaria (LPA) or Hurghada (HRG). A brand-new A320neo will take off daily for Dubai, and there will also be two flights a week (Thursdays and Saturdays) to Gran Canaria and up to four flights a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) to Hurghada in Egypt.

“For the first time, Condor is also represented with flights to Dubai from the German capital's airport, which we are very pleased about and is an important step for us,” says Peter Gerber, CEO Condor. “The Canary Islands and Egypt are popular vacation destinations in Condor's route network and the new destination of Dubai gives guests the opportunity to fly to some of the world's most attractive destinations with our partners. We are thus expanding our flight offering from Germany not only this winter, but also beyond in the coming summer season.”

Aletta von Massenbach, Chairwoman of the Management Board of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “Welcome back! We are delighted that Condor is starting the 2024/2025 winter season with three popular sun destinations from BER. Travelers have a wide range of attractive travel options, especially via Dubai.”

The flights from Berlin-Brandenburg Airport will be operated with A321 aircraft and to Dubai with one of the brand-new A320neo aircraft. The Airbus A32Xneo family stands for the most modern and highly efficient aircraft technology in the world combined with significantly improved aerodynamics. With the PW1127G, the new Condor aircraft have the latest generation of engines from Pratt & Whitney, which not only reduce fuel consumption by 20 percent, but can also be operated with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The aircraft also emits up to 20 percent less CO2 and up to 50 percent less noise. Converted, the kerosene consumption per passenger per 100 kilometers on board an A320neo is 1.9 liters - with maximum customer comfort.
