The
number of passengers carried by Turkish Airlines rose 2.1% on a yearly basis to
83.4 million in 2024, according to a statement Wednesday.
Türkiye's
flag carrier served 31.7 million international passengers, up 6.4%, it said.
The
load factor dropped by 0.4 percentage points to 82.2% year-on-year in 2024, it
noted, adding it was at 81.8% for international flights and 85.8% for domestic
flights.
The
firm also carried 2 million tons of cargo and mail, up by 20.6% year-on-year.
In
December alone, it carrier 6.4 million passengers, up 5.3% from the same month
in 2023.
The
carrier had a fleet of 492 aircraft as of December 2024.
