W Hotels debuts in the all-inclusive segment with the opening of W Punta Cana
Located
on the beaches of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the new property
features 340 rooms and suites (each starting at 65 m²), including 46 with
swim-up pools and several with private pools. The resort combines W Hotels’
bold design with local cultural inspiration and offers a 400-meter beachfront,
an 80-meter infinity pool, and extensive landscaped grounds designed with
sustainability in mind.
Guests
can choose from 12 restaurants and bars, ranging from Dominican- and
Caribbean-inspired cuisine to Asian concepts and a food hall. Entertainment
includes curated live music, wellness-focused experiences, and cultural
programming. Facilities also include the AWAY Spa with 10 treatment rooms, a
24-hour gym, and 14,000 square feet of event space.
The
opening marks a significant milestone for the brand, expanding W Hotels into
the adults-only, all-inclusive segment. Further all-inclusive properties are
planned in Mexico (Corasol Playa del Carmen and Costa Mujeres) in 2028 and
2029.
