The
Lufthansa Group has introduced an Early Check-In service for all passengers
traveling from Singapore’s Changi Airport to Europe with Lufthansa and Swiss
International Air Lines (SWISS). Guests can now take advantage of the Jewel
Early Check-In (JECI) service, available from 08:00 on the day of departure, up
to twelve hours before the main check-in counters open. This allows travellers
to drop off their baggage early and enjoy more flexibility at Changi Airport.
Brendan
Shashoua, Lufthansa Group Senior Director Sales – Southeast Asia and the
Pacific, said:
“Having
recently celebrated our 60th anniversary of flights to Singapore, we are
delighted to announce that we will be offering Early Check-In service for all
Lufthansa Group guests to Europe. From September 1st, 2025, our passengers will
be able to use the Jewel Early Check-In service (JECI) on their day of
departure, from 08:00 until 20:00, when the main check-in opens.”
Strengthening
Presence in Singapore
Lufthansa
has been part of Singapore’s aviation landscape since 1965, connecting the
city-state to Europe and beyond for six decades. By introducing Jewel Early
Check-In, the Lufthansa Group reinforces its commitment to customer
satisfaction at one of Asia’s most strategic gateways.
