The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) is bringing the Saudi
Travel Fair 2025 back to Malaysia, taking place from November 12–16 at IOI City
Mall, Putrajaya. The event invites Malaysians to explore Saudi Arabia’s rich
cultural experiences, diverse landscapes, and new travel opportunities, all
under the banner of “Winter is Alive.”
This year’s fair will feature 11 travel agencies, Saudia
Airlines, and Touch N’ Go Digital (TNGD), all offering exclusive promotions and
limited-time packages. Visitors can enjoy up to 25% off Saudia Economy fares
and 20% off Business Class tickets, while TNGD users benefit from an additional
2% cashback for payments made in Saudi Arabia.
Exclusive travel packages and rewards
Participating agencies including Andalusia, Ikhlas,
Rayhar, Tabung Haji Travel, and Jay Ibrahim will present new Umrah+ extensions
to destinations such as AlUla, Taif, Aseer (including Abha), and Al Baha.
Travelers can expect unique perks — from free Haramain train rides and exclusive
excursions to limited-edition merchandise. Juara Travel & Tours will also
celebrate its 25th anniversary with a Lucky Draw, giving customers the chance
to win prizes including a new Axia car or motorcycles.
Beyond the Golden Triangle – Saudi’s hidden gems
While Riyadh, Jeddah, and AlUla form Saudi Arabia’s
well-known “Golden Triangle,” this year’s fair introduces travelers to the
country’s breathtaking highland regions:
Abha, Aseer Region – The Green Heights: Known as
Saudi’s “Green Heart,” Abha offers lush mountain scenery, ancient villages, and
cool air perfect for hiking and outdoor adventures.
Al Baha – Mist and History: Perched in the Sarawat
Mountains, Al Baha captivates visitors with its misty climate, centuries-old
stone towers, and dramatic landscapes surrounding the historic village of Dhee
Ayn.
A window into the ‘Winter is Alive’ season
Visitors will also get a first look at Saudi’s “Winter
is Alive” program, a national initiative showcasing cultural, entertainment,
and adventure experiences across the Kingdom. Highlights include the Riyadh
Season with exhibitions, concerts, and digital art shows; the UNESCO World
Heritage site of Diriyah with cultural performances and heritage dining; and Red
Sea adventures such as e-foil surfing, kayaking, and sailing.
Further inland, Hail and Qassim invite travelers to
explore ancient castles, heritage homes, and lush palm oases, offering a
glimpse into the Kingdom’s deep-rooted traditions and natural beauty.
Where culture meets adventure
With unbeatable airfare deals, cashback offers, and a
packed program of cultural showcases, the Saudi Travel Fair 2025 promises to be
the ideal launch point for a spiritual, cultural, or leisure journey through
the Kingdom.
