Ryanair has announced a new partnership with the
travel platforms Vola and Fru, part of ITH Group, strengthening its presence in
Central and Eastern Europe. The agreement enables customers in Romania and
Poland to access Ryanair’s flight network and ancillary services directly
through both platforms.
With this move, Ryanair continues to expand its
network of approved online travel agency partners. Passengers booking via Vola
or Fru will benefit from full price transparency and receive all relevant
flight information directly from the airline.
Expanded access to Ryanair’s network
The partnership gives Vola and Fru customers access to
Ryanair’s portfolio of more than 230 destinations, alongside its low-fare
offering and range of additional services. The integration follows the model of
Ryanair’s existing “Approved OTA” agreements, designed to ensure a consistent
booking experience and direct communication with travellers.
By connecting directly to the airline’s system, the
platforms aim to provide a seamless booking process while maintaining clear
pricing structures.
Strategic move for both partners
“We are pleased to announce our partnership agreement
with Vola and Fru – adding to our growing list of partners. Through this new
agreement, Vola and Fru customers will be able to book Ryanair’s low-fare
flights with the guarantee of full price transparency and direct access to
their booking. We look forward to working with Vola and Fru and carrying their
customers onboard our market-leading network of Ryanair flights,” said Dara
Brady, Chief Marketing Officer at Ryanair.
“Vola and Fru have been built around one idea:
removing friction from the travel booking process. This partnership is a
natural next step in building the most advanced travel booking experience for
our customers. Connecting directly with Europe’s largest low-cost carrier means
our customers now have access to the flights that matter, through our
platforms. That is what we have been building towards,” said Daniel Truica, CEO
and Co-founder of ITH Group.
Focus on seamless booking and transparency
The agreement reflects a broader industry trend
towards closer collaboration between airlines and digital distribution
platforms. For customers, the partnership is intended to simplify access to
flight offers while ensuring reliable information and transparent pricing
throughout the booking process.
