Ryanair has announced its largest-ever summer schedule
from Wrocław Airport, further expanding its operations in Lower Silesia. The
Summer 2026 programme will include 50 routes, among them four new destinations
– London Luton Airport, Seville, Rimini and Tirana. With the continued growth
of its base, the airline expects to serve around three million passengers
annually in Wrocław.
The airline has steadily expanded its presence in the
city over recent years, increasing both the number of destinations and the
frequency of flights. For the Summer 2026 season, Ryanair will base nine
aircraft at Wrocław Airport. The aircraft represent an investment of
approximately USD 900 million and reinforce the airport’s position as one of
the airline’s key operational hubs in Poland.
Growing network strengthens regional connectivity
The expansion of Ryanair’s base is expected to deliver
wider economic benefits for the region. Increased passenger traffic is likely
to boost tourism and business travel while improving connections to key labour
and investment markets across Europe.
According to the airline, the growing network will
support more than 2,000 jobs in the region, both directly at the airport and
across related sectors such as tourism, hospitality and services. Reaching
three million passengers per year would further strengthen Wrocław’s role as an
important transport hub in Poland and in the wider European network.
Record route network for Summer 2026
The new Summer 2026 schedule from Wrocław includes 50
routes in total, including four new connections to London Luton, Rimini,
Seville and Tirana. Nine aircraft will be based at the airport, representing an
investment valued at USD 900 million. Passenger numbers are expected to exceed
three million annually.
To mark the launch of the new schedule, Ryanair has
introduced a limited seat sale with fares starting from PLN 126. The offer is
available until 15 March through the airline’s app and on its website.
Michał Kaczmarzyk said:
“We are extremely pleased to announce a record summer
2026 schedule from Wrocław. With 50 destinations, including four new routes –
to London Luton, Seville, Rimini and Tirana – we are offering residents of
Wrocław and the entire Lower Silesia region an even wider choice of connections
at competitive prices. Our Wrocław network caters to a variety of passenger
needs – from business travel and short city breaks to classic holiday trips to
sunny resorts. Equally importantly, with this schedule we are increasing
passenger traffic in Wrocław to three million passengers per year.
Basing nine aircraft with a total value of USD 900
million confirms how important Wrocław and the region are for us. This steady
growth would not be possible without excellent cooperation with Wrocław
Airport, with which we are jointly working on expanding our offer and improving
the travel experience. We believe that the new destinations and increased
flight availability will encourage even more passengers to plan their holidays,
city breaks and business trips with Ryanair as early as this summer.”
Karol Przywara added:
“For many years now, together with Ryanair we have
been consistently expanding the range of connections from Wrocław, responding
to the needs of residents of the city and the entire region. Our very good,
partnership-based cooperation translates into concrete results – an
increasingly rich route network, greater flight availability and record
passenger traffic.
The new destinations announced for the Summer 2026
season have everything it takes to become hits of the summer schedule. These
are attractive destinations that fit perfectly into the holiday plans of
travellers from Lower Silesia – both those planning a longer vacation and those
opting for short city breaks. What is particularly encouraging is that
passengers flying from Wrocław will once again enjoy an absolutely
record-breaking network of connections next summer. The 50 destinations offered
by Ryanair show how dynamically our airport is developing and how important
Wrocław has become in this carrier’s Polish network. This is good news not only
for passengers, but also for the entire region and its economy.”
