Building on its record-breaking performance in 2024, Radisson
Hotel Group continues its strong trajectory in 2025 with more than 210 hotel
signings and openings already completed. The Group’s growth spans Europe, the
Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, reaffirming its ambition to become one
of the world’s most dynamic and responsible hotel companies.
Strong performance and strategic expansion
“Our journey in 2025 reflects Radisson Hotel Group’s
unwavering focus on excellence for our guests and owners,” said Elie Younes,
Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer. “Each new
property has been carefully curated to match the evolving needs of travelers
while advancing our global transformation.”
In Europe, Radisson Blu continues to lead the
upper-upscale segment with flagship signings in France, Germany, Türkiye, and
Montenegro. A standout project is The Medlock at Manchester City’s Etihad
Stadium, redefining the concept of stadium hospitality. Later this year, Radisson
Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel, Paris will open its doors at one of Europe’s
busiest travel hubs.
Expanding the Radisson Collection footprint
France remains a key growth market for Radisson
Collection, the Group’s luxury lifestyle brand. Milestones include the opening
of Cour des Loges Lyon and the signing of Banke Opera Paris, set to debut in
2026. The brand also made its first appearance in Hungary with the Radisson
Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest, and celebrated the reopening of Radisson
Collection Hotel, Berlin in spectacular style. These openings strengthen the
brand’s position as a showcase for design, heritage, and modern hospitality.
Sustainability and bold design at the core
Radisson RED, known for its vibrant design and
creative energy, continues to expand globally with new hotels across the UK,
Romania, India, the UAE, and Thailand. The opening of Radisson RED Oslo City
Centre marked the Group’s second Verified Net Zero Hotel, underlining its
sustainability leadership. In London, a partnership with PPHE Hotel Group will
introduce the brand near Liverpool Street Station, while in Rome, the art’otel
Rome Piazza Sallustio is setting a new design benchmark.
Radisson Individuals, launched in 2020, now counts
more than 100 properties in operation and development. The brand’s flexibility
attracts independent owners in diverse markets including France, Portugal,
Germany, Malta, Kazakhstan, the UK, Poland, Spain, Greece, Türkiye, India, and
the Philippines. The new Premier, Boutique, and Retreats segments offer
tailored solutions for distinct guest experiences.
Growth across APAC and resort destinations
The Radisson brand continues to evolve with
sustainability-first initiatives and new market entries in the Democratic
Republic of Congo, Armenia, and Saudi Arabia. In the UK, Radisson will anchor a
landmark all-electric stadium development for Oxford United Football Club.
Across APAC, momentum remains strong with 13 new
openings in India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. The Group’s resort
portfolio now exceeds 160 properties, including new signings in Vietnam, Sri
Lanka, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, and Egypt. Highlights include Radisson
Hotel Cannes, Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, and Radisson
Collection Resort, Galle in Sri Lanka.
Milestones in China and India
China remains a powerhouse of growth: 130 new hotels
have been signed or opened in 2025, bringing the pipeline close to 300. The Country
Inn & Suites by Radisson brand leads expansion, with a portfolio of 375
hotels nationwide.
In India, the Group achieved a historic milestone with
200 hotels signed and opened. With 59 new signings in just 18 months and
operations in 47 new cities, Radisson is on track to reach 500 hotels across
India by 2030, strengthening its position as the country’s largest organically
growing international operator.
Responsible growth, lasting value
“As we look ahead, our goal remains clear: to deliver
meaningful value to owners, create memorable experiences for guests, and drive
responsible growth that benefits communities worldwide,” said Younes.
The Radisson Hotel Group’s 2025 trajectory underscores
its reputation as a forward-looking, purpose-driven hospitality
leader—balancing rapid expansion with sustainability, design excellence, and
long-term impact.
