MGallery Collection is set to begin 2026 with an
expanded global footprint, introducing a series of new properties across four
continents. The upcoming openings span island retreats, coastal resorts, and
nature-focused destinations, each designed to express local character while
delivering the brand’s signature blend of intimacy, storytelling, and refined
hospitality.
The new chapter underscores MGallery’s positioning
within the luxury and lifestyle segment, where individuality, emotional
connection, and cultural depth shape each stay.
A portfolio shaped by place and character
“Each upcoming opening enriches our brand's portfolio
of signature hotels, where every stay becomes a memorable and meaningful
experience,” says Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and
Emblems. “Designed to celebrate local and unique character, our hotels invite
travellers to discover new places, new atmospheres and new stories.”
Maldives: quiet luxury at Mirihi
Formerly operating as Mirihi Island Resort, V Villas
Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection will reopen in January 2026 following
an extensive renovation and expansion led by Studio Gronda. The boutique resort
will feature 42 villas, ranging from beachfront and overwater accommodations to
multi-bedroom suites with private pools.
Inspired by Maldivian heritage and the delicate Mirihi
flower, the design emphasizes restrained elegance and a deep connection to the
surrounding Indian Ocean. Set amid vibrant coral reefs and a protected lagoon,
the resort is conceived as a serene retreat shaped by natural rhythms and
understated comfort.
Australia: coastal elegance in Noosa
Opening in February 2026, Elysium Noosa Resort –
MGallery Collection occupies a prime position on Hastings Street, close to
Noosa National Park and Laguna Bay. The resort will offer 175 rooms, including
104 suites and eight villas, with the signature Elysium Suite featuring a
private pool.
Its culinary concept blends coastal freshness with
Mediterranean influence. Cibaria, created in collaboration with restaurateurs
Alessandro and Anna Pavoni, focuses on regional produce, while Bar Capri
channels the spirit of Italian aperitivo by the pool. The architecture and
interiors emphasize natural light, soft sand tones, and organic materials,
creating a seamless dialogue between indoor spaces and the surrounding ocean,
forest, and river.
France: nature and gastronomy on Oléron Island
On France’s Atlantic coast, Le Bel Hôtel Oléron –
MGallery Collection is scheduled to open in April 2026. The hotel will comprise
102 rooms, including eight suites, with views of either pine forest or ocean.
Located within a protected Natura 2000 site between
the Saint-Trojan forest and Gatseau beach, the property draws on natural
materials and a palette inspired by seaside houses of Oléron and the Hamptons.
A culinary concept developed by Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire anchors
the experience, complemented by a signature restaurant, two bars, beach
service, and a marine spa with thalassotherapy facilities.
Thailand: two contrasting retreats in Phuket
MGallery Collection will debut two new properties in
Phuket in 2026. Kamaliss MontAzure Phuket – MGallery Collection, opening in
April, is set between Kamala’s green hills and the Andaman Sea. With 150 rooms,
the resort forms part of the MontAzure community, combining access to Phuket’s
lifestyle and entertainment offerings with a calm, nature-driven atmosphere
centered around a lagoon.
Later in the year, Navera Phuket – MGallery Collection
will open in June 2026 on the hilltops above Surin Beach. The property
comprises 19 individually styled villas designed as intimate, personalized
retreats. Contemporary Thai culture, maritime influences, and elements of
Sino-Portuguese heritage shape the design language, positioning Navera as one
of Phuket’s most exclusive boutique offerings.
With these five openings, MGallery Collection
reinforces its global growth strategy for 2026, focusing on destinations where
landscape, culture, and design come together to create distinctive and
emotionally resonant stays.
