Rosewood
Hotels & Resorts® is pleased to announce the upcoming debut of Rosewood
Calistoga and Rosewood Residences Calistoga, opening in 2027. Set on a
cultivated hillside estate in the heart of Napa Valley, the property will
invite guests to discover California’s iconic wine country through a new lens –
one shaped by the land, legacy, and lifestyle of its unique locale. Designed as
a living ecosystem where experimentation is welcomed and rejuvenation takes
form, Rosewood Calistoga will offer both an elevated resort experience and a
residential enclave that celebrates simplicity, community, and time well spent.
Design
in Dialogue with People and Place
Spanning
118 acres along Calistoga’s forested ridgeline, the resort is located just
steps from the town’s charming downtown. Designed by Atelier Marsh and inspired
by the vision of the late architect Ed Tuttle, the property will feature 129
guestrooms, suites, and residences. Understated forms will follow the contours
of the land, echoing the textures of the ridgeline, while interiors harmonize
modern sophistication with the warmth of wine country living. Natural materials
and locally inspired motifs will create a timeless design that evolves with the
seasons and fosters connection to place.
Endless
Discovery Through Taste and Togetherness
At
Rosewood Calistoga, the abundance of Napa Valley will shape the guest
experience. Culinary concepts will highlight seasonal ingredients harvested
from the resort’s own gardens as well as local farms and wineries. The
signature restaurant will offer an earth-to-table menu featuring fresh produce,
organic and free-range meats, and sustainably sourced Pacific seafood. Guests
can also enjoy an intimate cocktail bar with expert mixology, a poolside eatery
with vineyard views, and immersive experiences such as cooking workshops and
starlit vineyard dinners. Each experience is designed to celebrate Napa’s
heritage and inspire meaningful connections.
Regenerative
Experiences for Mind, Body, and Spirit
Rosewood’s
integrative wellness concept, Asaya®, will anchor the resort’s holistic
approach to wellbeing. With the forest as its backdrop, the sanctuary will
feature six treatment rooms, an outdoor garden, hydrotherapy experiences, and a
fitness center. Additional amenities will include two swimming pools – one for
adults and one for families – as well as the Rosewood Explorer’s Club for
children. More than 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space will
provide venues for gatherings of every kind.
Contemporary
Hillside Living at Rosewood Residences Calistoga
Complementing
the resort, Rosewood Residences Calistoga will offer 20 private villas and 13
homesites. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the natural landscape, each
residence will combine modern refinement with natural materials, echoing the
forms and rhythms of the surrounding forest and vineyards. Homeowners will
enjoy access to Rosewood’s signature amenities, including Asaya and curated
culinary offerings, as well as exclusive privileges through the Rosewood
Reserve program.
“We
are proud to unveil Rosewood Calistoga, where every element is thoughtfully
curated to celebrate Napa Valley’s renowned culinary heritage and distinguished
viniculture,” says Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
“Through our Sense of Place philosophy, we will continue to uphold our
commitment to excellence by offering innovative experiences and fostering
meaningful connections.”
