Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has announced a major expansion of
its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Southeast Asia, with three new signings
joining 17 additional properties across six countries. The new developments
will add nearly 4,000 rooms in key markets including Malaysia, Singapore,
Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines, reinforcing Hilton’s momentum
as the fastest-growing hospitality group in Asia Pacific.
Expanding Luxury Presence
Hilton’s top-tier brands – Waldorf Astoria, LXR,
Conrad and NoMad Hotels – continue to anchor its regional growth.
In Vietnam, Waldorf Astoria Hanoi marks the brand’s
national debut, while LXR Hotels & Resorts will launch an 80-room retreat
on Đảo Xanh Island in Da Nang. Conrad Hotels & Resorts expands with two new
openings: Conrad Hoi An and Conrad Phu Quoc, the latter part of a major
mixed-use development supporting the 2027 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting.
In Thailand, Hilton will debut The Rawai Phuket, LXR
Hotels & Resorts, a nature-focused luxury retreat, and Conrad Bangkok
Sukhumvit Queen’s Park, the brand’s second property in the capital. Waldorf
Astoria Kuala Lumpur and Conrad Kuala Lumpur are both set to open in 2026,
followed by Waldorf Astoria Bali in 2027. Meanwhile, NoMad Singapore will bring
its refined, art-inspired lifestyle concept to Asia Pacific for the first time
in 2026.
Lifestyle Growth Across the Region
Hilton is also accelerating the rollout of its Canopy,
Curio Collection and Tapestry Collection brands, catering to travellers seeking
authentic, locally inspired stays.
In Malaysia, the Tapestry Collection debuts in Melaka,
while Nivata Koh Samui in Thailand and NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An in Vietnam
will follow soon after.
The Curio Collection by Hilton continues to expand
with KROMO Bangkok, which reimagines the Thai capital’s heritage through bold
design, and Kahavadi Chiang Rai, opening early next year. In Langkawi, The
Nautilus Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton will add a design-led coastal
retreat.
Hilton will also introduce Canopy by Hilton in two
capitals: Makati (Philippines) and Bangkok Sukhumvit (Thailand), further
deepening its lifestyle footprint.
A Confident Outlook for Asia Pacific
Hilton plans to increase its luxury and lifestyle
portfolio in Asia Pacific by at least 50% in the coming years, adding to more
than 160 existing properties. The group’s expansion reflects strong demand from
a rapidly growing affluent and middle class, alongside rising investor
confidence in the region’s hospitality sector.
“Today’s travellers seek authentic, enriching
experiences aligned with their values,” said Tal Shefer, Senior Vice President,
Brand Management, Asia Pacific, Hilton. “Our luxury and lifestyle brands are
designed to meet those expectations — blending purposeful design, culinary
excellence and a deep sense of place. As we expand, we remain committed to delivering
stays that are not only memorable, but unmistakably Hilton.”
