Air France Renews Partnership with Three-Michelin-Star Chef Julien Royer

Air France has extended its exclusive culinary partnership with three-Michelin-starred chef Julien Royer, introducing a new selection of signature dishes for passengers travelling in La Première and Business Class on flights from Singapore to Paris. The collaboration, which began in 2019, continues the airline's strategy of showcasing French gastronomy while incorporating regional influences from Asia.

The renewed partnership features ten new dishes for La Première and an updated selection of meals for the Business cabin, offering seasonal menus that rotate throughout the year.

French culinary tradition meets Asian inspiration

Chef Julien Royer, whose cuisine combines classic French techniques with Asian flavours, has created menus inspired by both his French heritage and Singapore's culinary culture.

The latest collection includes refined meat, seafood and vegetarian options, with dishes drawing inspiration from regional favourites such as chicken rice while highlighting seasonal ingredients and vegetables at their peak.

"I am delighted to continue my collaboration with Air France, this time creating new dishes for La Première and the Business cabins," said Julien Royer. "The new menu remains rooted in French technique, while drawing inspiration from some of Singapore's most loved dishes, including our interpretation of chicken rice. Vegetarian dishes are also now part of the menu, giving more options while celebrating the beauty of vegetables at their peak. I hope these dishes can bring a sense of comfort while travelling."

Seasonal menus throughout the year

The La Première menu rotates every two months and features dishes such as Braised Beef Cheek with Pinot Noir, Sea Bass and Prawn Bouillabaisse, Provençal Lamb Shoulder and Miso-marinated Cod, alongside several vegetarian creations including Wild Mushroom Ravioli and Butternut Squash Gnocchi.

Business Class passengers can choose from a similarly diverse selection, including Braised Beef Short Ribs, Veal Blanquette, Ballotine de Volaille 'Grand-Mère', Chilean Seabass and Mediterranean-style Stuffed Vegetables.

Seven years of culinary collaboration

The renewed agreement marks seven years of collaboration between Air France and Chef Royer.

"Air France is honoured to renew its collaboration with triple Michelin-starred Chef Julien Royer, continuing a successful partnership that has now spanned seven years," said Femke Kroese, General Manager Air France KLM South East Asia & Oceania. "This renewed collaboration reflects Air France's ongoing dedication to offering customers the very best of French excellence throughout their journey. These creations are a true expression of Air France's commitment to exceptional gastronomy and refined service."

The exclusive menus are available on Air France flights departing Singapore for Paris in La Première and Business Class throughout 2026.
