Air France will serve nearly 170 destinations in 73
countries during the 2026 summer season while continuing to expand its
long-haul network and premium onboard offering. Compared with summer 2025,
long-haul capacity will increase by around two percent, driven primarily by
stronger demand on routes to North and South America.
A key addition is a new direct connection between
Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Las Vegas, launching on April 15, 2026 with three
weekly flights operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Las Vegas becomes Air
France’s 19th destination in the United States and its 26th in North America.
From June 2026, the airline will also add a second daily flight to New
York-Newark. In partnership with Delta Air Lines, up to eleven daily flights
will operate between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and the New York airports JFK and Newark.
More capacity to Asia amid Middle East disruptions
Due to the ongoing security situation in the Middle
East, Air France has extended the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv, Beirut,
Dubai and Riyadh until early May 2026. At the same time, the airline continues
to increase capacity to Asia.
Additional flights and larger aircraft are being
deployed to high-demand destinations such as Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai,
Tokyo and Osaka. The expanded services will continue throughout the summer
season.
Premium upgrades across the long-haul fleet
Air France is also continuing the rollout of its new
La Première suite, which is already available on selected routes from Paris to
New York-JFK, Los Angeles, Miami, Singapore and Tokyo-Haneda. During the 2026
summer season, the cabin will also be introduced on flights to Abidjan and San
Francisco.
At the same time, the airline is expanding free
ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi across its fleet. By the end of March 2026, around 40
percent of aircraft will already be equipped with the new connectivity system,
with the goal of extending the service to nearly the entire fleet by the end of
the year.
Expanded European network and restructuring in Paris
On short- and medium-haul routes, Air France plans to
operate up to 630 daily flights to more than 90 destinations. Frequencies will
increase to several major European and Mediterranean cities, including Dublin,
London-Gatwick, Marrakech, Rabat, Naples, Seville and Porto.
From summer 2026 onward, Air France will also
centralize its Paris operations at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub. Flights to
Toulouse, Nice and Marseille will increase to 12, 12 and 10 daily services
respectively, while all flights to French overseas territories will also depart
from Charles de Gaulle.
At the same time, Transavia will strengthen its role
as the group’s low-cost carrier at Paris-Orly, operating new routes to
Toulouse, Nice and Marseille. Across its network, Transavia France will serve
109 destinations in 33 countries during the summer season.
