This
significant visit solidifies Thailand's position as Asia's leading destination
for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE).
The
Infinitus group is visiting Thailand from 12 to 19 May, arriving in three
separate batches. Each group follows a unique travel itinerary within the
country: Phuket–Bangkok, Chiang Mai–Bangkok, and Pattaya–Rayong–Bangkok. These
routes allow participants to experience regional highlights before converging
in Bangkok for a large-scale seminar and gala event at the Queen Sirikit
National Convention Center (QSNCC) on 17 May.
Gala
Highlights and VIP Reception
The
gala event, presided over by Mr. Kittipong Prapattong, TAT Deputy Governor for
Digitalisation, Research, and Development, will showcase Thailand's ability to
host high-value Chinese visitors with efficiency and hospitality. Attendees
will enjoy a traditional Thai cultural performance supported by TAT,
emphasizing the country's unique identity. A specially produced welcome video
will also express gratitude to Infinitus for choosing Thailand as their
preferred incentive destination for over a decade.
A
VIP welcome was arranged at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 13 May, where Infinitus
executives and team leaders arriving from Guangzhou on a China Southern
Airlines flight were greeted by Mr. Chuwit Sirivejkul, TAT’s Regional Director
for East Asia, alongside TAT staff and representatives from Guangzhou Huiyue
International Travel Service.
Strengthening
Ties with the Chinese Market
This
visit is part of TAT’s broader strategy to enhance Thailand's appeal to quality
tourism from China. It follows a similar incentive trip in 2024, which brought
over 3,000 Infinitus delegates to the country. Founded in 1992, Infinitus is a
prominent Chinese health brand specializing in herbal supplements and
frequently rewards top-performing representatives with international trips.
With
more major corporate groups expected throughout 2025, this event further
establishes Thailand as the destination of choice for large-scale incentive
travel in Asia.
