Celebrating
its 45th anniversary, WTM London 2025 will leverage the continued expansion of ExCeL
London and booming global interest in travel to offer an unprecedented scale of
exhibitor space, curated content, and high-level engagement.
Following
the successful debut of the Capital Hall and Auditorium level in 2024—which
contributed to an 11% rise in qualified buyers and more than 34,000
pre-scheduled meetings—the 2025 edition will benefit from an additional 25,000
m² of event space. This 25% increase enables WTM London to grow further and
introduce new features aimed at enriching the exhibitor and visitor experience.
Introducing
WTM Trend Fest
A
key highlight of the upcoming show is the launch of WTM Trend Fest—a dynamic
new cultural programme spotlighting immersive global experiences. Exhibitors
will have the opportunity to showcase themed activations in areas such as wellness,
pop culture, gastronomy, sports, and adventure, featuring live performances,
presentations, and sponsorship opportunities.
Over
4,000 exhibitors participated in WTM London 2024, marking an 8% increase over
the previous year. Early indicators suggest that 2025 is on track to surpass
these numbers, with record-breaking growth anticipated across all sectors—from
destinations and hospitality to technology and transport.
New
for 2025: WTM TV and Expanded Policy Dialogue
To
amplify reach and insight, WTM London 2025 will debut WTM TV, a live broadcast
platform delivering interviews, panel discussions, and behind-the-scenes
coverage both on-site and online. The new channel aims to educate, connect, and
inspire audiences worldwide.
WTM’s
role in shaping tourism policy will continue to grow in 2025. Following a 12%
rise in participation by global Tourism Ministers last year, the Ministers’
Summit, co-hosted with UN Tourism and the World Travel & Tourism Council
(WTTC), will return with its most impactful agenda yet.
New
Leadership and Bold Vision
The
2025 edition will be led by Chris Carter-Chapman, newly appointed Event
Director, who brings fresh energy and strategic vision to the role. “WTM London
is proud of its legacy—but we’re firmly focused on the future,” said Chris.
“With ExCeL’s expansion unlocking new opportunities, and a fast-evolving global
audience, 2025 will set a bold new benchmark.”
