The
two-day event marked 340 years of Thai-French friendship and reinforced
France’s role as a vital market for Thai tourism.
Under
the theme “5 Must Do in Thailand,” the festival featured five immersive zones
showcasing Thai culture, cuisine, crafts, and wellness. Highlights included a
recreated floating market, live cooking demos of UNESCO-recognised Tom Yum
Goong, herbal sachet workshops, and premium teas from Royal Projects. Visitors
engaged hands-on with Thai traditions, from beaded Nora dance keychains to
photo booths and artisan displays.
“This
strong turnout shows how deeply French travellers connect with Thailand,” said
TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool. “The festival brought the Thai spirit to
the heart of Paris.”
France
remains one of Thailand’s top long-haul markets, with 409,125 French arrivals
in the first five months of 2025—a nearly 20% year-on-year increase. TAT aims
to reach 870,000 arrivals by year’s end, targeting families and high-end
travellers through airline collaborations, marketing campaigns, and promotions
like the Louis Vuitton Bangkok City Guide 2025.
The
festival was organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in Paris in collaboration with
TAT and partners from both public and private sectors as part of the Amazing
Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025.
