The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched a
new highlight of its Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign — the “Amazing
Bag” activity — designed to delight international travellers arriving during
Thailand’s high season. Taking place at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, and Phuket
International Airports from 1 November to 15 December 2025, the initiative
embodies the theme “Privilege Beyond Expectation”, showcasing the warmth and
creativity of Thai hospitality.
On 6 November, Minister of Tourism and Sports Artthakorn
Sirilatthayakorn, together with senior officials from the ministry, TAT
Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool, and airport and immigration representatives,
welcomed arriving passengers at Suvarnabhumi Airport, personally presenting
them with the signature “Amazing Bag” — a curated collection of locally
inspired keepsakes. A similar activity followed at Don Mueang Airport the next
day, spreading festive cheer to incoming visitors.
A campaign to inspire travel and spending
Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool said, “The Amazing
Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign supports the government’s Big
Impact, Act Fast policy by stimulating international travel spending and
enhancing the visitor experience. It plays a key role in boosting arrivals and
satisfaction during the peak tourism season.”
More than 2,500 international travellers have already
participated, with top visitor nationalities including China, India, Russia,
France, and the United Kingdom. By showing their passports, travellers can
receive an Amazing Bag and unlock exclusive travel deals through the campaign’s
online platform.
Inside the Amazing Bag: a journey through Thai culture
Each Amazing Bag features handcrafted souvenirs
inspired by Thailand’s “5 Must Do” experiences:
·
Must Taste – Dried Thai mango
·
Must Try – Muay Thai keychains celebrating Thai martial arts
·
Must Buy – Thai textile crafts such as scarves and bags from Sakon
Nakhon and Phrae
·
Must Seek – Handwoven dinosaur and naga keychains from Kalasin and Bueng
Kan, plus ethnic tassel keychains from Chiang Rai
·
Must See – Artistic tokens featuring Khon and Phi Ta Khon motifs
Travellers can also scan a QR code to register for Lucky
Bags containing tourism vouchers and special prizes worth over 1 million Baht,
offered by TAT’s travel partners.
Privileges beyond expectation
Now in its second year, the Amazing Thailand Passport
Privileges program combines two nationwide highlights — the exclusive sales
promotion featuring discounts from over 300 tourism businesses across Thailand,
and the “Amazing Bag” gift initiative, both aimed at creating lasting memories
for visitors and reinforcing Thailand’s reputation as a destination of
authentic warmth and creativity.
