Pattaya will mark the tenth anniversary of its
International Bikini Beach Race this autumn. The event will take place on 31
October 2026, bringing runners from Thailand and abroad to a five-kilometre
course along Pattaya Beach.
Organised by Central Pattaya, this year’s race is
themed “The Sunset to Moonlight Beach Race”. Participants will start in front
of Central Pattaya around sunset before running along the beach and returning
to the same location after dark.
More than 5,000 runners took part last year
The event has developed into one of Thailand’s most
distinctive beach-running events. According to the organiser, more than 5,000
runners from around the world participated in 2025.
The Halloween date is expected to add another
dimension this year, with costumes, music and entertainment accompanying the
race as the beachfront changes from a sunset running course into an evening
celebration.
Race weekend as a Pattaya getaway
Central Pattaya is also positioning the event as an
incentive for international visitors to combine participation with a short
holiday. Pattaya offers beaches alongside a broad range of hotels, restaurants,
shopping, entertainment and nightlife.
The 5K race takes place on Saturday, 31 October.
Registration costs THB 1,000, equivalent to around US$30.49, and remains open
until 30 October 2026.
