Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) has announced that
a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with GSM
Investissements Dominicana S.R.L., owner of Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, to
launch the Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana. Scheduled to open in 2026, the
new-build adults-only resort will feature 406 rooms—including Junior Suites,
Master Suites, Presidential Suites, 111 swim-out suites, and 13 panoramic
high-level swim-out suites—set along the pristine shores of Macao Beach.
Elevated All-Inclusive Experience
The resort will offer nine restaurants with
international flavors, nine bars serving premium spirits, and distinctive
venues including a sports bar, cigar lounge, and Coco Café. A highlight will be
a farm-to-table restaurant set in an organic on-site garden, offering a
sustainable dining experience. Preferred Club guests will also enjoy an
exclusive restaurant with curated menus and elevated service.
Guests will benefit from the brand’s Unlimited-Luxury®
inclusions, such as pool and beach service, unlimited international and
domestic top-shelf drinks, 24-hour room and concierge service, daily
entertainment, and nightly programming.
Pools, Amenities and Shared Access
Secrets Macao Beach will feature three pools: a beach
club-inspired main pool, an activity pool with daytime programming, and a
rooftop pool reserved for Preferred Club members. Guests will also have
reciprocal access to neighboring Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, expanding the
dining and activity options. For groups and events, the resort will include a
convention center with capacity for up to 1,000 attendees.
Strengthening Hyatt’s Dominican Republic Portfolio
“We are delighted to continue our relationship with
Hyatt with plans for Secrets Macao Beach,” said Georges Santa-Maria, manager of
GSM Investissements Dominicana S.R.L. “Building on the success of Dreams Macao
Beach Punta Cana, we are confident this resort will offer a premier adults-only
experience that elevates the appeal of this exceptional location.”
“The Dominican Republic continues to be a priority
destination for guests seeking adults-only, all-inclusive luxury,” said
Fernando Fernandez, vice president, development, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt. “We’re
thrilled to strengthen our partnership with GSM Investissements and introduce
the Secrets Resorts & Spas brand to UNESCO-recognized Macao Beach.”
Expansion Momentum in the Caribbean
The addition of Secrets Macao Beach follows recent
Inclusive Collection growth in the Dominican Republic, including the openings
of Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa and Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort
& Spa in Miches, as well as Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa and Dreams
La Romana Resort & Spa. In Q4 2025, Hyatt plans to open Hyatt Vivid Punta
Cana, further expanding its footprint in the region.
