Marriott Bonvoy is preparing its largest culinary showcase to date at the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival 2026, bringing together chefs and mixologists from 14 hotels across the city. Taking place from 29 October to 1 November, the four-day event will feature specially developed dishes, creative beverages and interactive dining experiences designed to highlight Hong Kong's distinctive culinary heritage.
The initiative brings together several of Marriott International's leading hotel brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, JW Marriott, Sheraton, W Hotels and Le Méridien. Participating culinary teams will present contemporary interpretations of local flavours, drawing inspiration from regional ingredients, traditional cooking techniques and the city's international dining culture.
Under the theme Mountains. Sea. Seasons., Marriott Bonvoy's festival programme explores the relationship between Hong Kong's natural environment and its culinary traditions. The concept reflects the influence of local landscapes, seafood, seasonal produce and generations of craftsmanship on the city's food culture. Three dedicated experience zones will allow visitors to explore different aspects of this culinary identity, from individual dishes and cocktails to more intimate tasting sessions.
Three culinary zones celebrate local flavours
The festival presentation will be organised around three complementary concepts, each offering a different approach to Hong Kong's food and beverage traditions.
Hong Kong on a Plate will focus on dishes created with local ingredients and products sourced from regional suppliers. Chefs from participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels will develop recipes that combine traditional influences with contemporary culinary techniques.
The second area, Hong Kong in a Glass, will explore the city's beverage culture through a selection of specially created drinks. Mixologists will interpret local flavours and ingredients in cocktails and other beverages designed for the festival.
A new addition for 2026 is Hong Kong at the Table, an experience developed specifically for Marriott Bonvoy's participation in the event.
Presented through The Experience Lounge, the concept will offer smaller-scale tasting sessions and omakase-inspired dining experiences. Guests will have opportunities to explore specially curated menus and interact with chefs and mixologists from Marriott Bonvoy hotels.
The programme will also feature invited culinary professionals from established restaurants and bars in Hong Kong and other destinations across the region.
By combining different dining formats, Marriott Bonvoy aims to appeal to visitors seeking both casual food discoveries and more elaborate gastronomic experiences.
Collaboration connects gastronomy and local craftsmanship
Beyond the culinary programme, Marriott Bonvoy has announced a collaboration with Lee Kung Man, a Hong Kong textile company known for its heritage craftsmanship.
The partnership will introduce a limited-edition merchandise collection inspired by the festival's food and beverage theme.
The collection will feature colours associated with wine, including deep burgundy reminiscent of Merlot and a cream shade inspired by Chardonnay.
The collaboration also extends to a specially created cocktail called Cotton Tree Garden Club.
According to Marriott Bonvoy, the drink has been developed to reflect elements of Lee Kung Man's textile craftsmanship, translating the company's materials and design traditions into a contemporary beverage experience.
The initiative connects two aspects of Hong Kong's cultural identity: its established manufacturing heritage and its evolving gastronomy scene.
Fourteen hotels contribute culinary expertise
The 2026 programme brings together a broad selection of Marriott International properties across Hong Kong.
Participating luxury hotels include The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, W Hong Kong, The St. Regis Hong Kong and JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong.
The Sheraton brand will be represented by Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers and Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel.
Other participating properties are Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel, Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel and Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel.
The line-up also includes The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection, Le Méridien Hong Kong, Cyberport, Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong, Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin and Four Points by Sheraton Hong Kong.
Together, the hotels represent a variety of hospitality segments and dining concepts, allowing the festival programme to draw on culinary teams with different specialisations and approaches.
Richard Boyer, Regional Vice President for South China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Hainan at Marriott International, described Hong Kong as a destination where culinary heritage and innovation are closely connected.
He said the company's expanded participation would provide an opportunity to showcase the creativity of its culinary teams while presenting familiar local flavours in new ways.
Culinary tourism strengthens Hong Kong's appeal
The Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival provides a platform for restaurants, hotels and beverage specialists to introduce their products to local residents and international visitors.
For Marriott Bonvoy, participation in the event creates an opportunity to promote its hotel portfolio through experiences that extend beyond accommodation.
The combination of food tastings, cocktail presentations and interactive dining sessions also reflects the growing importance of gastronomy within destination marketing.
Hong Kong's culinary identity draws on Cantonese traditions, international influences and a diverse restaurant scene ranging from neighbourhood eateries to high-end dining establishments.
By placing local ingredients and cultural craftsmanship at the centre of its festival presentation, Marriott Bonvoy is seeking to connect these traditions with contemporary hospitality experiences.
The festival will run from 29 October through 1 November 2026, giving visitors four days to explore the culinary programme developed by the participating hotels.
