Flight
DE2362 departed from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) on the evening of Saturday, July
26, 2025, and arrived at Sanya Phoenix International Airport (SYX) on July 27,
following a stopover in Bangkok (BKK). The arrival was marked by a traditional
welcome ceremony at the airport.
The
new route is now served three times per week during the summer schedule, with
departures from Frankfurt on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. All flights
include a brief stop in Bangkok and are operated with the state-of-the-art
Airbus A330neo, which offers Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class
seating.
“With
the launch of the Sanya connection, Condor continues the strategic expansion of
its long-haul network in Asia,” said Heiko Holm, Managing Director and CTO of
Condor. “Thanks to our strong and trusted partnership with Sanya Phoenix
International Airport and the Sanya Tourism Board, we’re offering a compelling
new travel option for European tourists while also opening doors for Chinese
travelers to explore our European network.”
In
March 2025, Condor signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sanya
Tourism Board and Sanya Phoenix International Airport. In addition to launching
the new route, the agreement outlines a shared commitment to promoting
sustainable tourism and preserving Sanya’s cultural heritage.
Tickets
for flights to Sanya are available through travel agencies and at www.condor.com.
