the debut of Caption by Hyatt Zhongshan Park Shanghai in collaboration with
Fungseng Prosperity (China) Limited, marking the introduction of Hyatt’s new
lifestyle brand in the Asia-Pacific region. Situated adjacent to the iconic
Zhongshan Park and within the lively Yuyuan Road neighborhood, this 254-room
lifestyle hotel offers the flexibility and self-guided select-service options
guests love, combining local flavors and culture for travelers and locals to discover
and forge authentic connections.
Caption by Hyatt Zhongshan Park Shanghai offers a
hotel experience immersed in its local community and serves as a focal point
for both local residents and visitors from afar. Its prime location offers easy

Inspired by the natural and cultural aspects of its
surroundings, the hotel’s thoughtfully designed interior and selection of
artwork are curated for comfort and to spark connection with the local
neighborhood. The abstract paintings illustrate scenes of Zhongshan Park
including traditional lane houses and local flora decorated throughout the
public spaces. The layers of colors and textures compliment the backdrop of
guestroom’s city views featured in the guestrooms, highlighting the dynamic
lifestyle of historical Shanghai.
