IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading
hotel companies, has announced a new management agreement with Al Ashraaf
Developments to open Holiday Inn Cairo Al Obour, a 170-room property in Al
Obour City, northeast of Cairo.
Located along the Cairo–Ismailia Desert Road, the new
hotel will enjoy excellent connectivity to Cairo International Airport and
nearby residential, commercial, and industrial hubs. Designed to cater to both
business and leisure travelers, the property will further enhance Cairo’s
position as a major regional tourism and business gateway.
Holiday Inn’s next-generation experience comes to
Cairo
With more than 1,200 hotels worldwide, Holiday Inn
remains one of the most recognized and trusted hotel brands globally. The
upcoming Holiday Inn Cairo Al Obour will embody the brand’s next-generation
design standards, featuring the Open Lobby concept – a versatile social hub
that blends work, dining, and relaxation in a single, contemporary space
tailored to modern travelers.
Strategic partnership for urban growth
Eng. Ahmed Amin Masoud, CEO of Al Ashraaf Group,
emphasized the importance of the collaboration:

A modern hub for travelers
The Holiday Inn Cairo Al Obour will feature 170
contemporary rooms, including 11 suites, along with four dining outlets, five
meeting spaces, and retail facilities.
IHG currently operates eight hotels in Egypt across
its InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Staybridge Suites brands
and maintains a pipeline of 22 additional properties set to open across the
country within the next two to five years — reinforcing its long-term
commitment to Egypt’s growing hospitality market.
