Condor is expanding its European network with a major
addition: Beginning April 2026, the airline will operate three daily flights
between Frankfurt and London Gatwick (LGW). It is the first time London appears
in Condor’s route map, offering business travelers and leisure passengers
flexible options for day trips, short stays and weekend breaks. Tickets are
available via condor.com, the call center and all travel agencies.
A strategic enhancement in European connectivity
“With London Gatwick, we are adding another exciting
metropolis to our city network, offering business travelers and city tourists
even more options. The launch of this route is another clear signal of our
growth in the European market,” said Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor.
Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer at London
Gatwick, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Condor to London Gatwick, providing
an important gateway to Frankfurt for passengers across London and the South
East. This is a key link between London and one of Europe’s most influential
financial hubs, and with Frankfurt’s excellent cultural offering, Condor’s
three daily flights will provide excellent connectivity for business and
leisure passengers.”
London: a key destination for business and leisure
London ranks among Europe’s leading business and
financial centers and remains one of the continent’s most popular city-break
destinations. The new Condor route offers convenient access to the Greater
London area with multiple daily frequencies, while leisure travelers gain an
attractive option for short trips to one of Europe’s most visited cities.
Network growth continues: Tbilisi and Sulaymaniyah
return
Condor is also expanding beyond Western Europe. In December
2025, the airline will resume weekly nonstop flights from Düsseldorf to Sulaymaniyah
(ISU) in northern Iraq, supporting strong demand from passengers visiting
family and friends.
In June 2026, Condor will add Tbilisi (TBS) with daily
flights from Frankfurt. Georgia’s capital attracts visitors with its cultural
diversity, centuries of history and renowned hospitality.
With new service to London and renewed links to
Tbilisi and Sulaymaniyah, Condor continues to strengthen its presence in high-growth
and high-demand markets across Europe, the Middle East and the Caucasus.
