Condor has moved into its new corporate headquarters
in Gateway Gardens, bringing its administrative functions closer to Frankfurt
Airport and the airline’s operational core. The relocation places management
and support teams in direct proximity to flight operations and crews, marking a
strategic shift in the company’s organisational setup.
The airline now occupies around 15,000 square metres
across ten floors in the Alpha Rotex building. The new location is designed to
support collaboration and efficiency while reinforcing Condor’s close ties to
the Frankfurt aviation hub.
Symbolic opening with political representatives
The opening of the new headquarters was marked by a
ceremonial ribbon-cutting attended by Ines Fröhlich, State Secretary at the
Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Affairs,
Frankfurt’s Mayor Mike Josef and Condor CEO Peter Gerber.
“With our new location in Gateway Gardens, we are
moving closer to the heart of our operations—Frankfurt Airport—and therefore
closer to our crews. This brings our company even closer together in day-to-day
operations and underlines our strong connection to the Frankfurt aviation hub,”
said Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor.
“The opening of Condor’s new headquarters in Frankfurt
is a strong signal of our city’s economic strength. Gateway Gardens stands for
internationality and future-oriented development—at the same time, this
decision highlights the company’s close ties to Frankfurt and the wider
region,” said Mike Josef, Mayor of the City of Frankfurt am Main.
Modern workspace at a key aviation hub
Gateway Gardens offers a contemporary working
environment with international connectivity and direct access to Frankfurt
Airport, which serves as the central hub of Condor’s route network. From here,
the airline connects millions of travellers with holiday destinations worldwide
as well as major European cities.
The move underscores Condor’s position as one of the
largest companies headquartered in Frankfurt and reflects the importance of the
location for its ongoing development.
Milestone in post-restructuring development
The relocation also marks a further step in Condor’s
transformation following the insolvency of its former parent company Thomas
Cook in 2019. During the restructuring phase, administrative functions were
temporarily based in Neu-Isenburg.
Today, the airline is economically stable and
strategically aligned for future growth. This includes the ongoing
modernisation of its fleet with new long-haul aircraft and continuous
improvements to its product offering in order to remain competitive in the
international market.
