Tourexpi
Prize by Radisson has opened its newest property in
the heart of Osnabrück, marking the first unveiling of the brand’s refreshed
design expression. Located on Johannisstrasse, the hotel places guests within
easy reach of the city’s cultural highlights and lively urban districts. With
its warmer, tactile aesthetic, the new-look property sets the tone for the next
generation of Prize by Radisson hotels.
Introducing a Refined, Contemporary Design
Prize by Radisson Osnabrück is the first hotel to
embody the brand’s updated visual identity. Soft tones, natural materials and
carefully considered lighting create an atmosphere that feels calm, intuitive
and welcoming. Rather than leaning on a thematic approach, the spaces are
designed to be characterful yet understated. Social areas have been reimagined
to match modern urban rhythms, offering flexible settings for coworking, quick
check-ins, relaxed breakfasts or unwinding after a day in the city.
Rooms Shaped for Today’s Easygoing Travel
The hotel features 172 thoughtfully appointed rooms,
including family options for up to two adults and three children. Generous
beds, walk-in rain showers, connected TVs and bedside wireless charging combine
comfort and convenience for short or extended stays. The design-led but
uncomplicated aesthetic continues throughout the rooms, reinforcing the hotel’s
modern and relaxed atmosphere.
Sustainability Built In
Sustainability is embedded across the property. Prize
by Radisson Osnabrück holds DGNB Gold certification and aligns with EU Taxonomy
requirements. Operations are largely paperless, and waste- and energy-reducing
measures support Radisson Hotel Group’s broader goals for responsible travel.
A Convenient Base in the Centre of Osnabrück
Situated between the vibrant Neumarkt district and the
historic alleys of the Old Town, the hotel offers a walkable starting point for
exploring Lower Saxony’s culturally rich city. Cafés, boutiques and the Museum
Quarter lie close by, while the central station is just ten minutes away on
foot. With its blend of medieval heritage, university life, creative energy and
abundant green spaces, Osnabrück provides an inviting balance of culture and
nature.
A Significant Step for the Brand
“Osnabrück is a city with character, history and a
growing cultural pulse, and we wanted the hotel to reflect that,” says Yilmaz
Yildirimlar, COO Managed Hotels Europe at Radisson Hotel Group. “Prize by
Radisson Osnabrück introduces our refreshed design direction with a warm and
tactile atmosphere designed around the way people travel today. It is a
meaningful step forward for the brand and a strong addition to our presence in
Germany.”
