Expanding
Across Africa
Radisson
Hotel Group has signed 11 new hotels and opened 7 properties over the past 15
months, adding more than 2,000 rooms to its portfolio. With a total of 100
hotels across 30 countries, the group’s expansion is driven by a strong focus
on local partnerships and high-impact conversions, with 1,000 rooms opened
through conversions alone.

New
Market Entries: Democratic Republic of Congo
Radisson
Hotel Group announced its entry into the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
with two key projects:

Radisson Blu Hotel, Kinshasa (Opening
late 2026): Located in Kinshasa’s prime Gombe district, this upper-upscale
hotel will feature 110 rooms, diverse dining options, wellness facilities, and
modern meeting spaces.

Radisson Hotel Lubumbashi (Opening
mid-2027): Situated on Revolution Road Avenue, this upscale property will offer
97 guest rooms, a rooftop bar, flexible meeting areas, and proximity to key
landmarks like Kipopo Lake and Lubumbashi Golf Club.
Strengthening
the Indian Ocean and West Africa Presence
Radisson
also marked its entry into Guinea with the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel,
Conakry, just three months after signing. Additionally, the group expanded its
Indian Ocean portfolio with the signing and opening of Crystals Beach Resort
Belle Mare in Mauritius, featuring 234 rooms with stunning lagoon views.
Strategic
Growth in Central and West Africa
In
Cameroon, Radisson signed the Radisson Blu Hotel & Apartments, Yaoundé,
scheduled to open by the end of 2026. Located in the central business district,
the hotel will feature 150 rooms, various dining options, and extensive meeting
and wellness facilities, reinforcing the group’s presence in Central Africa.
