initiative combines the strengths of IHG’s Business Edge and SIA’s HighFlyer programmes,
both tailored to meet the evolving needs of SME business travellers.
Starting
1 May 2025, eligible HighFlyer members who enroll in the IHG Business Edge
programme will receive a complimentary Gold Elite upgrade within the IHG One
Rewards loyalty scheme after their first qualifying stay. This upgrade unlocks
exclusive benefits such as guaranteed discounts, late check-out, flexible
cancellations, and special partner offers across IHG’s global hotel portfolio.

IHG’s
Business Edge, launched in 2018, provides SMEs with a centralized hotel booking
platform offering streamlined reservations, discounted rates, and loyalty
benefits. Singapore Airlines’ HighFlyer programme complements this by offering
preferential airfares and the ability to earn and redeem points for future
travel, with tier-based rewards that include bonus points, milestone benefits,
and premium services such as priority waitlists and upgrades.
This
new partnership builds on the success of IHG’s previous collaboration with
Virgin Australia and reflects IHG’s commitment to broadening its travel
solutions for SMEs worldwide.
