According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, there were 314 million domestic trips made in China during the five-day holiday, reflecting a 6.4% year-on-year increase. Domestic tourism spending reached 180.27 billion yuan, an 8.0% increase from the previous year.

The overall hotel occupancy rate for H World exceeded 84%, up 1% from last year. Major cities showed strong performance, with occupancy rates reaching 88% in Guangzhou, 87% in Shenzhen, and 85% in Xi'an—representing year-on-year growth of 10%, 14.5%, and 10.4% respectively.

Second-tier cities also showed remarkable results, with locations such as Xuzhou, Changchun, Foshan, Ningbo, Nanchang, Nanning, and Wenzhou surpassing 90% occupancy, highlighting robust domestic travel demand beyond the primary urban centers.

Smaller third- and fourth-tier cities also experienced a surge in leisure travel. Cities like Bengbu, Liaoyang, and Pingxiang reported full occupancy, driven by domestic tourists seeking more relaxed holiday environments.

A significant factor in the increased guest numbers was China's adoption of a 240-hour visa-free transit policy. During the holiday period, H World recorded over 43,000 international guest stays, a 75% increase compared to the previous year, showcasing the growing appeal of China as a destination for global travelers.

H World Group’s strong performance during the holiday reflects the growing momentum of domestic and international travel in China, fueled by both policy changes and increased tourism activity across various city tiers.
