Hyatt Hotels Corporation has introduced the Grand
Hyatt brand in İzmir with the opening of Grand Hyatt İzmir İstinyePark, marking
the second Grand Hyatt hotel in Türkiye. The property, previously operated as a
Hyatt Regency, has been repositioned with redesigned public spaces and an
upgraded guest experience, reflecting the brand’s continued expansion across
Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Prime location between city and coast
Located in the Balçova district, where İzmir meets the
Aegean Sea, the hotel combines a central urban setting with sweeping coastal
views. Integrated directly into the İstinyePark İzmir shopping destination, the
property offers immediate access to high-end retail as well as proximity to key
attractions such as Kemeraltı Bazaar, the Clock Tower and the Historical
Elevator. Regional highlights including Urla, Çeşme and Ephesus are also within
easy reach. Adnan Menderes International Airport is approximately 20 minutes
away.
“Grand Hyatt İzmir İstinyePark reflects the vibrant
rhythm of İzmir while honoring the city’s rich Aegean heritage,” said Zafer
Canbaz, General Manager, Grand Hyatt İzmir İstinyePark. “As part of the Grand
Hyatt brand, we are proud to introduce a new hotel experience that brings
together bold design, elevated service and dynamic culinary experiences. We’re
excited to usher in the next chapter for our hotel, as a sophisticated and
social destination for both business and leisure travelers.”
Contemporary design with Aegean character
The hotel features 160 rooms designed to maximise
natural light and views of the Gulf of İzmir. Floor-to-ceiling windows, private
balconies and refined in-room amenities define the guest experience, supported
by discreet technology such as motion-activated lighting and heated marble
bathroom floors.
Architecturally, the property blends modern coastal
aesthetics with natural materials, combining wood, marble and neutral tones. A
redesigned courtyard and lobby create a new arrival experience, while expansive
glass facades emphasise uninterrupted sea views. The hotel also showcases
nearly 40 artworks from the private collection of Orjin Group.
Wellness and relaxation overlooking the Aegean
A key feature is the 1,360-square-metre spa,
complemented by an outdoor pool overlooking the coastline. The wellness
offering includes signature treatments such as Hammam rituals and personalised
therapies, alongside a fitness centre with panoramic views and personal
training services.
Dining concepts with a social focus
The culinary offering spans several venues. The Bay
Restaurant serves as the main dining outlet, while The Park Bar provides a
setting for afternoon tea and cocktails. FARO7, a new all-day à la carte
restaurant located at the entrance, combines contemporary cuisine with a
vibrant social atmosphere, including an open-air terrace, curated wine
selection and signature cocktails. A Grand Club lounge is set to open soon,
offering additional exclusive services for eligible guests.
Flexible spaces for events and meetings
The hotel offers around 2,000 square metres of meeting
and event space, including ten meeting rooms and a large ballroom suitable for
conferences, weddings and social events. Several venues feature direct access
to outdoor terraces, while an exclusive event space on the 11th floor provides
an intimate setting for smaller gatherings with views over the Aegean.
