Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa has introduced a Stay and Dine package designed for travellers seeking a beach holiday with dining included in their accommodation arrangements. Located on Bangsak Beach along Thailand’s Andaman coast, the resort combines beachfront accommodation with a selection of restaurants, swimming pools and recreational activities. The offer is aimed at couples and families looking to explore Khao Lak while enjoying the facilities of a full-service resort.
The package includes daily breakfast for two guests and a three-course lunch or dinner each day, selected from designated menus at participating resort outlets. Each meal includes a soft drink and an additional selected beverage per person. Families receive a further benefit, with up to two children under the age of 12 eligible for complimentary meals from the children’s menu when dining with paying adults.
Situated north of Phuket International Airport, the resort offers direct access to Bangsak Beach and three lagoon-style swimming pools. Its location provides an alternative to the busier resort areas around Phuket, while remaining within reach of the international airport. For travel agents selling Thailand holidays, the package offers a combination of accommodation, dining and on-site activities that can be incorporated into longer stays along the Andaman coast.
Dining options across the resort
Food and beverage experiences form the central element of the new package. Guests can choose between several dining venues, each offering a different style of cuisine and atmosphere.
The Nest serves international dishes, while The Pizzeria specialises in Italian cuisine. Beach Grill focuses on seafood and oceanfront dining, allowing guests to combine their evening meal with views of the Andaman coast.
Additional venues include Coconut Joe’s Beach Bar, which serves drinks in a relaxed beachfront setting, and Le Scoop by Le Méridien, offering coffee, pastries and gelato.
The daily three-course meal included in the package is available from selected menus, rather than representing unrestricted dining throughout the resort. Travellers should therefore check the applicable menu choices and package conditions when booking.
For families, the complimentary children’s meals may help make the overall cost of a resort holiday more predictable, particularly during longer stays.
Activities for families and active travellers
Beyond its restaurants and beachfront location, Le Méridien Khao Lak offers a programme of recreational activities intended for different age groups.
Guests can participate in yoga sessions, birdwatching, cycling tours, Muay Thai classes and fitness activities. Pool-based recreation is also available, while the surrounding coastal environment provides opportunities for relaxation and outdoor leisure.
Younger guests can join activities organised through the Le Méridien Family Kids’ Club. The programme includes creative sessions such as mask making, balloon twisting, waffle decoration and beach-inspired arts and crafts.
Adults seeking a quieter holiday can use the resort’s spa facilities, spend time beside the lagoon pools or enjoy the beachfront setting.
Suyash Kumar, General Manager of Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa, said the package was developed around the combination of dining, leisure and shared experiences.
“At Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa, we believe a memorable holiday brings together meaningful experiences, great food and quality time with loved ones.”
Khao Lak as an alternative to Phuket
Khao Lak has established itself as a resort destination on Thailand’s Andaman coast, particularly among visitors seeking beach accommodation in a less urbanised setting than Phuket’s principal tourism centres.
Bangsak Beach, where Le Méridien is located, is part of the wider Khao Lak coastal area in Phang Nga province. The region attracts international visitors interested in beach holidays, nature experiences and excursions along the Andaman coastline.
For tour operators and travel agents, accommodation packages that include selected meals can provide a useful alternative to traditional room-and-breakfast arrangements. They allow travellers to include part of their dining expenditure in the initial booking while retaining flexibility for other activities and excursions.
The Khao Lak Stay and Dine package is available through the resort’s Marriott booking channels. The announcement does not specify a promotional end date or a fixed package price, meaning rates and availability will depend on the selected travel dates and booking conditions.
