Dar Al Arkan, in collaboration with Dar Global and The
Trump Organization, has officially revealed Trump International Golf Club, Wadi
Safar as the first of two Trump-branded landmark projects planned for Riyadh.
The announcement builds on a joint statement made in December 2024 and marks a
significant milestone in the development of Wadi Safar, part of the exclusive
masterplan led by Diriyah Company.
A flagship destination within the Diriyah masterplan
Set on a 2.6 million square metre site in Wadi Safar,
the project will comprise a gated luxury community anchored by a Trump-branded
championship golf course, a high-end Trump hotel and premium residential
offerings. The development is designed to integrate world-class hospitality,
architecture and lifestyle concepts while respecting the natural wadis and the
cultural heritage of the Saudi Arabia.
The setting aims to combine dramatic desert landscapes
with curated golf vistas, positioning the project as a new benchmark for luxury
living and leisure within the Kingdom.
Trump Organization expands regional presence
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump
Organization, described the project as a defining step for the brand in the
region. “We are proud to expand our presence with this landmark development in
Wadi Safar. Trump International Golf Club, Wadi Safar will redefine luxury and
excellence in the region, setting a new standard that reflects the brand's
enduring commitment to quality, prestige and timeless elegance. We look forward
to creating a destination that complements the rich heritage of the region
while delivering a global standard of luxury living.”
Vision of global stature and prestige
From the developer’s perspective, the project is
positioned as more than a national showcase. Yousef Al Shelash, Chairman of Dar
Al Arkan, emphasised the international ambition behind the development: “This
new project represents a vision to deliver a destination that captures the
prestige and the legacy of the Trump brand. With Dar Global leading the
development, we are confident this will become a flagship destination not just
for Saudi Arabia, but for the world.”
Heritage, elegance and international standards
Ziad El Chaar, Chief Executive Officer of Dar Global,
highlighted the company’s role in translating global luxury expertise into the
Diriyah context. “Dar Global is proud to collaborate with Diriyah Company and
Dar Al Arkan on the development of Trump International Golf Club, Wadi Safar.
We have delivered landmark projects across Europe and the GCC in partnership
with globally recognized luxury brands. Bringing this experience to the Diriyah
project, we will deliver a destination that combines heritage, elegance, and
world-class standards, making Trump International Golf Club, Wadi Safar a truly
iconic address.”
With its scale, brand alignment and integration into
the Diriyah masterplan, Trump International Golf Club, Wadi Safar is positioned
as a cornerstone development in Riyadh’s evolving luxury and lifestyle
landscape, and the first visible expression of a broader Trump-branded vision
for the Saudi capital.
