Two Six Senses resorts have been ranked among the world’s leading hotels in the 2026 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, one of the travel industry’s most prestigious reader-voted rankings. Based on votes from more than 207,000 readers, Six Senses Crans-Montana in Switzerland and Six Senses Yao Noi in Thailand both secured places among the world’s top 25 hotels.

Thailand resort tops national ranking

Six Senses Yao Noi was named the No. 1 resort in Thailand while also earning a place among the world’s top 25 hotels. Travel + Leisure praised the resort as a secluded island retreat overlooking Phang Nga Bay, highlighting its blend of sustainability, wellness and natural beauty.

“Being named the No. 1 Resort in Thailand by the readers of Travel + Leisure is a tremendous honor for every member of our team,” said Graham Grant, Regional General Manager Southeast Asia and General Manager of Six Senses Yao Noi. “This recognition reflects the genuine care our hosts bring to every guest experience and our commitment to creating meaningful stays that celebrate wellness, sustainability and the extraordinary natural beauty of Yao Noi.”

Alpine retreat among Europe’s finest

Six Senses Crans-Montana was ranked among the world’s top 20 hotels and named the No. 2 resort in Europe. Located in one of Switzerland’s best-known mountain destinations, the resort was recognised for combining year-round alpine experiences with an extensive wellness offering.

“Some places leave a mark not because of what they promise, but because of how they make you feel,” said Jean-Yves Blatt, General Manager of Six Senses Crans-Montana. “This recognition belongs just as much to our hosts. Every day, they bring kindness, curiosity and care to the experiences they create.”

Recognition for exceptional guest experiences

Neil Palmer, Chief Operating Officer of Six Senses, said the awards reflect the dedication of the brand’s teams and the trust of its guests.

“These awards reflect the passion and emotional hospitality of our teams, along with the exceptional experiences they create every day, whether high in the Alps or on a hideaway island. But recognition like this belongs to our guests as much as our hosts. Trust has to be earned, stay after stay, and we don't take it for granted.”

Presented annually by Travel + Leisure, the World’s Best Awards are based on reader feedback and are regarded as one of the travel industry’s most influential recognitions for hotels, resorts and travel experiences worldwide.
