Radisson Hotel Group opens 32 new hotels across EMEA and APAC

The Radisson Hotel Group continued its global expansion during the first half of 2026, opening 32 new hotels across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. The new additions strengthen the group's presence in both business and leisure destinations while supporting its long-term strategy of delivering greater value for hotel owners and memorable experiences for guests.

With a strong pipeline of signed properties and additional openings planned for the second half of the year, the company expects to maintain its growth momentum throughout 2026.

Resort portfolio continues to expand

As demand for leisure travel remains robust, Radisson Hotel Group further expanded what it describes as the largest resort portfolio in Europe and the second largest in the EMEA region. New resort openings include properties in Tenerife, Phuket, Bohol, Evia and Paros, reinforcing the group's position in some of the world's most popular holiday destinations.

Radisson Blu strengthens its market leadership

Radisson Blu continues to consolidate its position as Europe's leading upper-upscale hotel brand, a title it has held for 15 consecutive years according to the company. During the first half of the year, the brand expanded with landmark openings and signings in France, Germany, Türkiye and Montenegro.

Among the notable openings are the Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel in Paris, the Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Centre Salzburg, the Radisson Blu Hotel Bonn, the Radisson Blu Hotel Almaty Airport and the Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Barsha Heights.

India remains a strategic growth market

India continues to be one of Radisson Hotel Group's fastest-growing markets. Under its "India Vision 2030" strategy, the company aims to expand its portfolio to 500 hotels across the country.

Recent openings include the Radisson RED Indore and the Radisson Blu Hotel Miraj Stadium, Nathdwara Udaipur, further strengthening the group's presence in one of the world's fastest-growing hospitality markets.

Radisson RED gains global momentum

The lifestyle brand Radisson RED continued its international expansion with new hotels in New Zealand, the Philippines, India, Austria and Türkiye. The company says the brand's distinctive personality and contemporary positioning are driving strong momentum among both developers and travellers.

Strong pipeline for the second half of 2026

The first-half openings also included a wide range of properties under the Radisson Collection, Radisson Individuals, Prize by Radisson and Park Inn by Radisson brands, reflecting the group's diversified brand portfolio.

Looking ahead, Radisson Hotel Group plans to continue expanding across key international markets, with additional hotel openings and signings expected throughout the remainder of 2026. The company says its focus remains on creating meaningful value for owners while delivering memorable guest experiences and supporting responsible growth worldwide.
