Qatar Airways has launched its inaugural non-stop
service between Hamad International Airport and Hail International Airport,
marking Hail as the carrier’s 13th destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The airline will operate three weekly flights on the route.
Expanding Presence in Saudi Arabia
The new service underlines Qatar Airways’ strategic
focus on strengthening its footprint in Saudi Arabia, a key market within its
global network. With the addition of Hail, the airline now operates more than
150 weekly flights to destinations across the Kingdom.
The route supports Qatar Airways’ long-term commitment
to enhancing regional connectivity, improving access to Saudi Arabia’s
north-central region from Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East and
Southeast Asia via its Doha hub.
Connectivity via an Award-Winning Hub
Hail joins an extensive Saudi network that includes
Abha, AlUla, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, NEOM, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, The Red
Sea and Yanbu. Named the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax in 2025, Qatar Airways
offers passengers seamless connections to more than 170 destinations worldwide
through Hamad International Airport.
Hail as an Emerging Destination
Located in north-central Saudi Arabia, the Hail
Province is known for its historical significance, cultural heritage and
striking desert landscapes. Once an important stop along ancient trade and
pilgrimage routes, the region is home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites featuring
prehistoric rock art. Today, Hail continues to develop as a cultural and
regional hub within the Kingdom.
