The Emirates Airline Foundation has partnered with
Emirates Auction to launch a global online charity auction featuring rare
Emirates Skywards membership numbers that include Platinum tier benefits valid
for up to 20 years. The auction runs from 17 December 2025 to 17 January 2026
and is open to bidders worldwide.
Exclusive benefits with a charitable purpose
All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the
Emirates Airline Foundation, supporting projects for vulnerable children
through 14 NGOs in nine countries. These initiatives focus on areas such as
housing, education, healthcare, nutrition and vocational training, ensuring
long-term, community-based impact.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline and
Chairman of the Foundation, said the auction offers an innovative way to engage
new supporters globally while scaling the Foundation’s humanitarian reach. He
emphasised that every bid represents not just elite Skywards status, but a
tangible contribution to improving children’s lives.
Seven rare membership numbers available
Bidders can compete for seven distinctive Skywards
membership numbers, each carrying Platinum tier privileges. Winners will be
notified within 24 hours of the auction closing, with membership validity
determined by the final bid amount.
Platinum status is the highest tier in the Emirates
Skywards programme, typically reserved for the airline’s most frequent flyers.
Benefits include First Class check-in, lounge access worldwide for members and
guests, priority services, bonus Skywards Miles, and the ability to extend Gold
status to a companion.
How to participate
The fully digital auction is hosted on the Emirates
Auction platform. Registration is free, and bidding can be completed via the
website or mobile app. A refundable security deposit is required to activate
bidding privileges.
By combining exclusive travel benefits with
philanthropic impact, the initiative aligns with the UAE’s Year of Community
2025 and reinforces Emirates’ commitment to sustainable social development.
